MANCHESTER UNITED EYEING THIRD SUCCESSIVE WIN

Manchester United have their eyes set on a third successive win ahead of their Champions League trip to Madrid to take on Spanish La Liga holders Atletico Madrid. The Reds Devils have won their last two games in all competitions and they can make it three wins on the bounce if they are able to beat Atletico Madrid who have been out-of-form in the past three months by their usual high standards. Their drop in form has ensured that they are struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League football. Unless they win this season's Champions League title, Atletico Madrid won’t be playing Champions League football next season if they don’t finish in the top-four places at end of the Spanish La Liga this season.

For Manchester United, they were in a mini-crisis before it eased off as a result of the win over Brighton and Hove Albion last week.
