Who will finish as top goal-scorer for 2017-18?

With 12 English Premier League matches having been played so far, the top tier football league of England is almost reaching it’s midpoint. At this point in time, Manchester City have enjoyed a far more positive start to the season than any other club with no defeats and 11 triumphs out of the 12 opening league matches.

Despite this superb kick-off that Manchester City are going through, it’s still too early to decide which club will emerge as the champions of England.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is not focused on after Manchester United moved level with their cross-city rivals.

The Red Devils trounced Everton by a 4-0 scoreline at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and thereby continued their unbeaten start to the Premier League season.

Antonio Valencia opened the scoring with a thunderous effort after just four minutes into the game, and the result remained the same until half-time. Everton tried to level the scores with efforts from both Wayne Rooney and Gylfi Sigurdsson but David de Gea was on guard as he secured his 100th clean sheet in the United shirt.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has stressed that the Red Devils are far from guarantee a top-four spot despite their strong start to the Premier League season.

The Red Devils have racked six wins from the opening seven outings, and this has placed them second in the standings with 19 points - behind only Manchester City on goal difference.

Ander Herrera feels Good Again following Injury Return

Spain international Ander Herrera admits that he is back to full fitness after having recovered from the minor rib injury sustained during Manchester United's friendly against Real Madrid in July.

Herrera was subbed off just six minutes into in his second half appearance against the European champions, and Jose Mourinho initially had doubts that the injury could be much more serious.
