Evra: Win for Fergie

Patrice Evra wants to win the Champions League on Wednesday for Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I think a manager like him deserves to win the Champions League more than once," said the France full-back.

"This is why I hope that we can deliver the gift of the trophy to him out of respect for what he has done for Manchester United.

Tevez Set for Permanent Stay

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he plans to extend Carlos Tevez's Manchester United stay.

Ferguson has revealed that chief executive David Gill has been in talks with the 23-year-old's agent Kia Joorabchian, and a 'cheap' fee is in place.

"There is no question about his long-term future here. David Gill has spoken to his agent and told him we are very happy with him," he said.

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Manchester United want to win Group F after qualifying for the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League.

"I think if we win the next game that's us winning the group and that's what we intend to do."

Fergie: Neville Due Back

Sir Alex Ferguson says he expects Gary Neville to be fit and ready to play for United after the international break.

The United boss revealed that the injury is not as bad as first feared and believes Neville will be in contention to make his comeback during the Reds' 24 November trip to Bolton, ironically the team he suffered his initial against nearly eight months ago.
