Ronaldo happy with Real Pressure

Cristiano Ronaldo has vowed to not crack under the pressure of being the world's most expensive footballer.

The winger is set to finalise his record-breaking £80million switch from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

The sheer size of the deal means the spotlight will be even more focused on the Portugal star next season.

But Ronaldo, who is currently on holiday in his homeland, believes he will have no trouble settling into life at the Spanish giants as they attempt to return to the summit of European football.

'My career has always consisted of different challenges. At Manchester United it was like that every year,' he said.

'This season is different because it is a completely different experience for me and the challenges ahead are different ones. The expectations will be very high but I am used to that. I know who I am and I know what I have to do.
