Attacking Brilliance

  • 24 October 2007

Sir Alex Ferguson saluted his in-form attack after Manchester United fired four goals past shell-shocked Dynamo Kiev.

Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a brace and there were further goals for Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand as United created chance after chance.

And Ferguson said: "Our forward play at the moment is excellent. Some of our movement was excellent and although the finishes were easy, you have to be there to take them.

"To score four goals away from home in Europe represents a good performance at any time and we could even have had more.

"With people like Rooney, Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Ryan Giggs we have great ammunition.

"We have nine points now and that puts us in a very strong position.

"Dynamo probably caught us at the wrong time. Our form is strong now, much stronger than it was in our previous matches in this competition."
